Before I begin, I want to apologize to my friends in the Philippines, especially Kai, Jeanne, Tin, Min, and Myrt for not updating this thing...They're probably upset for not contacting them in a while...Hehe, my bad...
Well, so I'll talk about my trip coming back to the US. For my friends in Texas who
actually read this, sorry I lied(^-^). I didn't really spend my vacation in Japan, but I
did stopover there before I came to the US(surprise!XD).
Dad's and my first stop was Manila. We took a ship called "St.Peter." It was alright, but I didn't really enjoy it for some necessary reasons. We had to share the cabin room with two other people, but I was glad that they were females(a
lola and the helper). I kept having really bad stomach aches because I'm colic. As usual, the pains subsided after applying some manzanilla oil(=P). So, I spent most of the day asleep. We were only on the ship for about 15 hours(we stayed overnight) when we arrived in Manila at around 4pm. My dad had brought out our stuff to the ship's waiting area and I had to keep an eye on the stuff while my dad had to look for his sister who were going to pick us up. While I was waiting, I was freaking bored! After watching the ship workers do a dance(really funny!XD), there wasn't much to do but wait. While I waited, I just kept staring at my blue backpack that was next to me. All of a sudden, the most wierdest thing happened! Someone placed their hand on my backpack. At that second, I was alert, and looked up. The person just passed his hand, but the back that I looked at looked oddly familiar. I know it's almost impossible, but it looked like
Gino! I didn't see the face, but I tried to. He walked like Gino, his hair looked like Gino, and he had the same skin as Gino(at least that's what it looked like)! I wanted to make sure and tried calling out his name. Obviously, my cursed quiet voice didn't help, so he couldn't hear me from all the commotion going around. I kept staring as he walked away, wondering if it really was Gino. After a while, I let that go and just assumed it wasn't since it's very less than likely. After, I spent the night at my cousin's house and got a new book from
Ate Cecil, entitled, "Veronika Decides to Die."
The next day, I woke up at 3am and got ready to go to the airport. The next stop would be Tokyo, Japan, which would only be a stopover.
In Japan, it was awesome! I didn't really go outside of the airport, but Dad and I had to take a bus to the terminal. So, I at least got to know how the weather in Japan was. It was cold(XD)! The landscape of Tokyo is really cool, too. There's a river that looks like a snake that goes through and everything is really flat. I saw Mt.Fuji which was really pretty, especially the sakura(cherry blossom) trees that you can see. There are sakura trees in Washington DC also, but the trees in Japan seem more nicer. So, that was about it...
When I finally landed in Texas, my mom's friend,
Tita Judy, picked us up with Mom. My brother, Lynel, was sick at home. Basically, what I did the whole week was look for a school I would go to and visit my old school, which Lynel goes to now. I also visited some of my friends at schools and people I seemed to run into. I visited Ellie at her house and surprised her(she had thought I was going to vacation in Japan). It was really great to see her again. I went to a party on Saturday, so I got to hang out with a bunch of my old friends again.
Well, that's what's happening so far. I miss everyone in the Philippines, now. LoLz, it's funny how I can miss my friends in the US when I'm in the Philippines and then miss my friends in the Philippines when I'm in the US. Well, I still can't go on the computer or any electronics that needs the eyes to see. So, I'll go for now. I'll update another time though. See ya!^-^
